One of the most common mistakes I find beginners making is being afraid to "break" that horizon line. I use this illustration to demonstrate how there is nothing to fear. It is one of many similar type humorous illustrations I use to introduce basic perspective concepts in the book I am writing: "Adventures in Space: A Light Hearted and Understandable Guide to Perspective Drawing.”
I'm also going to be teaching online workshops on Perspective this fall, straight from my book, through ArtRoom52. More details on that as this develops. For now, sign up to the mailing list to stay up to date on both the progress of the book, and this upcoming workshop.
