Another Drapery and Folds Illustration

Another illustration has been completed and has found its way into the “It’s A Wrap” booklet on doing folds and drapery. In this image here, I’m giving you a sneak peak of the layout, as I’m putting together the final touches of this project. I still have one final illustration to create, plus some more rounds of edits and then one final push and this book will be finished!

What excites me about this book is all the positive feedback I’m already receiving from those who have had a chance to look at it. Yes, the book is short. But that’s what makes it attractive. It is not bogged down with heavy jargon and deep theory. It is straight forward, to the point, and easy to navigate and reference. I admit, it’s not some huge thick reference book one might find weighing down the shelf in a dusty library. However, it is a perfect studio mate—not taking up much room—that one can pull out of their handy little satchels or designer handbag and quickly flip through for refresher information.

One artist called it “cogent.” Another referred to it as “a much needed guide.” “Clear” and “understandable” are also words tossed around in describing the instruction of the booklet.

This booklet will become a must have for artists of all skill levels, but especially the student artist. If you have not yet preordered, you can do so now by clicking on the link. Otherwise, please sign up for the mailing list to be the first to learn of its official release.
