Remember a long time ago I might have mentioned casually that I was in the process of writing a book on perspective? Well, this is still a thing that is happening. This project continues to be a can kicked down the road, often due to health reasons, job obligations, and paying client work. These are all good reasons to delay any project, however, there has been much begging and pleading on behalf of current and former students of mine, as well as fellow instructors, and industry peers, to get this thing out the door.
The reason so many are clamoring for me to get it completed is because they have benefitted from the few chapters currently written. Designed for the beginner student just barely putting their toe into the perspective waters, the content is highly organized, intensely illustrated, and written in a relaxed and humorous conversational style that makes comprehension fun. Oh, and it is the ONLY perspective book to feature a frog in a business suit…
Starting soon, I, in partnership with Cherished Solutions, will be launching a crowdfunding page to get this finished written, illustrated, and published. I believe if I can get at least 500 pledges, it will cover the cost of the first print run, plus my time in finalizing its creation.
I still have 13 chapters to write and illustrate, so I do have a long way to go. However, in the meantime, we need to start generating buzz and can use your help.
